Import requirements to plan for

  • Australia applies strict biosecurity import conditions to rice and fresh produce. Check your permit requirements before ordering.
  • Some markets require halal certification or import permits for food.
  • Standard documents: invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary and fumigation certificates.

Rules change and vary by country. Confirm current requirements with your customs broker before the first shipment. We prepare documents to match.

Questions from buyers in Asia-Pacific

Can you export rice to Australia?

Yes, subject to Australia's biosecurity import conditions. Share your import permit details and we'll prepare the lot and documents to match.

Do you supply vegetables to Malaysia and Singapore?

Yes. We ship onions and other vegetables sorted by size, in reefer containers.

Can you mix rice and produce in one shipment?

Rice ships in dry containers and fresh produce in reefers, so they usually travel separately. We can coordinate both on the same schedule.
